Wakefest 2011 News

We're stripping-off the flash this year and taking Wakefest back to its roots...a fun day on the water!

That's right folks, Wakefest 2011 will be ONLY ON THE WATER!

There will be NO land-based activities (except for Mr Bob). No tents, no stage, no winch & slider, no food services, no raffles.

Here's what to do; Bring your boat, bring your crew, Launch from the Bordentown ramp, shred the morning Delaware river butter, low tide is at 1:00pm so we'll have a big raft-up lunch right across from the 295 over-pass, riders can still pass and throw tricks for the people, then we'll wakesurf until around 5:00 or 6:00. By then the tide will be up and there will be plenty of water at the ramp to pull-out and head-over to The Cool Cricket for a casual after-party. Sounds to me like a fun day and would give many a taste of what the original NJ Wakefest was over 6 years ago!

Earthquake & Tsunami Support

Hey NJ Wakeboarders'
I don't normally use the site as a soapbox to push personal agenda, but in light of the tragic events that are unfolding in Japan I thought some might be interested in knowing how they could help. The easiest way is through the American Red Cross. Those who want to help can go to www.redcross.org and donate to Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami. People can also text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation to help those affected by the earthquake in Japan and tsunami throughout the Pacific.

I'm  know everyones support will be greatly appreciated.

Wakefest After-Party UPDATE

The After-Party has moved to a new location! It will be held at The Cool Criket Bar & Grill in Fieldsboro, NJ. http://www.thecoolcricket.com. This is just a few miles from the NJWakefest event location.

And remember, NJWakefest is premiering a Special video from Sidewayz Films during the after party.

SPRING 2010!!!

Hey folks, Spring is here, Sun, warm weather, the works. While I personally have not uncovered the boat from the winter cocoon, I do know a few are attempting the task this weekend.
The Discussion board is getting active with information about new people moving to the area. If you can assist in answering some of their questions, please do. It's what the NJ Wakeboarding community is all about.
