We're stripping-off the flash this year and taking Wakefest back to its roots...a fun day on the water!
That's right folks, Wakefest 2011 will be ONLY ON THE WATER!
There will be NO land-based activities (except for Mr Bob). No tents, no stage, no winch & slider, no food services, no raffles.
Here's what to do; Bring your boat, bring your crew, Launch from the Bordentown ramp, shred the morning Delaware river butter, low tide is at 1:00pm so we'll have a big raft-up lunch right across from the 295 over-pass, riders can still pass and throw tricks for the people, then we'll wakesurf until around 5:00 or 6:00. By then the tide will be up and there will be plenty of water at the ramp to pull-out and head-over to The Cool Cricket for a casual after-party. Sounds to me like a fun day and would give many a taste of what the original NJ Wakefest was over 6 years ago!
